Project Description

We’re very pleased to announce the release of the new website for Chester Charity Beer Festival and would like to thank Neil Martin (The Work Of) for lending his design expertise to the project.

Now in its 25th year, the Chester Charity Beer Festival has been an exciting project to be a part of. Knowing the importance of their website to facilitate ticket sales, we used WordPress for content management, building a theme based on the Gantry framework. We integrated PayPal in to the site to allow visitors to purchase tickets directly from the website and also integrated a full list of beers available for consumption over the weekend.

To celebrate the 25th year of the Chester Charity Beer Festival we commissioned Cut Media to develop a brand new website for us. They worked exceptionally well with our graphic designer TheWorkOf to develop a site that perfectly matched all of our branding in print and on social networks.

Cut Media finished the entire design very quickly so that we could launch the new site well in advance of the festival starting. They were able to fit in all of our requirements from only a basic brief, leaving us free to get on with the other aspects of running a beer festival. As well as publishing information about the festival we also needed online ticket sales, and Cut Media proved adept at integrating PayPal with the site, as well as making the ticket purchase process much simpler for our customers.

Communication was always clear, and responses to questions came in very quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Cut Media again.
